Panic strike Lagos hotel as Ooni of Ife, wife, others get stuck in elevator
Huge panic struck a five star Lagos hotel on Thursday night when the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, his wife Olori Prophetess Naomi and other members of the palace got stuck inside the hotel elevator.
The Ooni of Ife, his wife, Prophetess Naomi and other members of his entourage had gone to the hotel which is located at Victoria Island, Lagos, to watch Queen Moremi stage play. The Musical Reloaded; a stage play produced by the House of Oduduwa Production.
Onyxnewsng learnt that the monarch attended an earlier production staged in April, 2019.
The latest production ran from December 24, 2019 to January 2, 2020 and shown between 3pm and 7pm. But Oba Ogunwusi decided to watch the last show and on arrival at the hotel, he was ushered into the elevator together with his entourage.
The king and about 20 of his entourage were in the hotel, but some entered the lift with him and got stuck later on.
After about 20 minutes of panic in the elevator, the hotel management was contacted to fix the elevator for the monarch to gain his way out of it.

It can be seen and heard in the video, one of the king’s Aide insulting the management of the hotel for taking long to rectify the elevator’s faults.
