Nigeria reports new cases of coronavirus, total exceeds 9000

Nigeria has recorded new cases of deadly coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic. This made the total cases of the disease exceeds 9000 in the country.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement that 387 new cases of ravaging COVID-19 has been detected in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases of the deadly virus to 9302 in the country.

This reliable online news platform understands that the NCDC confirmed 387 new cases of COVID-19 via the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday night, May 29.

NCDC recorded of the 387 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Friday night, 254 were detected in Lagos, FCT-29 Jigawa-24 Edo-22 Oyo-15 Rivers-14 Kaduna-11 Borno-6 Kano-3 Plateau-2 Yobe-2 Gombe-2 Bauchi-2 Ondo-1, South West of Nigeria.

The agency said in a tweet: “387 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-254 FCT-29 Jigawa-24 Edo-22 Oyo-15 Rivers-14 Kaduna-11 Borno-6 Kano-3 Plateau-2 Yobe-2 Gombe-2 Bauchi-2 Ondo-1 9302 cases of #COVID19Nigeria Discharged: 2697 Deaths: 261.”

Meanwhile, with the new cases of three hundred and eighty seven (387)death cases are two hundred and sixty one (261) and dicharged cases are two thousand, six hundred and ninty seven (2697), so the total cases of the disease in Nigeria as of Friday night, 29 May 2020 is nine thousand, three hundred and two (9302).
