Chelsea club ready to sign Germany striker Timo Werner

Chelsea have agreed a deal in principle to sign RB Leipzig Timo Werner, according to Sky Sports on Thursday.
The report added that the Germany international striker has a 55 million euro ($62.45 million) release clause which expires on June 15 and that Premier League club Chelsea had offered him a contract worth 200,000 pounds per week.
Werner who plays forward is second-top scorer in the Bundesliga this season with 25 goals, four behind Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski. He has made 29 appearances for Germany, scoring 11 times.
The 24 year old is ready to join Hakim Ziyech, who is joining from Ajax for £33m on July 1, as new additions at Stamford Bridge this summer following their transfer ban being lifted by FIFA in December last year.
Meanwhile, last year Chelsea were unable to sign players.
