Nigeria’s coronavirus exceeds 25000 as Edo records second highest

Nigeria recorded fresh cases of deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as Edo recorded second highest after Lagos.

The total number of the disease now hit 25, 694.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made it known that 561 new cases of the deadly disease have been detected in Nigeria. Total number of the virus now 25,694, with 9,746 discharged cases and 590 deaths.

NCDC recorded that 561 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Tuesday night, 200 were detected in Lagos, Edo-119 Kaduna-52 FCT-52 Niger-32 Ogun-19 Ondo-16 Imo-14 Plateau-11 Abia-8 Oyo-8 Bayelsa-7 Katsina-6 Kano-5 Bauchi-3 Osun-3 Kebbi-3 Borno-2 Jigawa-1.

NCDC tweeted: “561 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-200 Edo-119 Kaduna-52 FCT-52 Niger-32 Ogun-19 Ondo-16 Imo-14 Plateau-11 Abia-8 Oyo-8 Bayelsa-7 Katsina-6 Kano-5 Bauchi-3 Osun-3 Kebbi-3 Borno-2 Jigawa-1 25,694 confirmed 9,746 discharged 590 deaths.”
