BREAKING: Delta confirms highest number of coronavirus as Nigeria cases now hit 26,484

Nigeria recorded fresh cases of deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the total number of the disease hit 26,484, with Delta detecting highest number among all states.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made it known that 790 new cases of the deadly disease has been detected in Nigeria. Total number of the virus now 26,484 with 10,152 discharged cases and 603 deaths.

NCDC recorded that 790 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Wednesday night, 166 were detected in Delta, Lagos-120 Enugu-66 FCT-65 Edo-60 Ogun-43 Kano-41 Kaduna-39 Ondo-33 Rivers-32 Bayelsa-29 Katsina-21 Imo-20 Kwara-18 Oyo-11 Abia-10 Benue-6 Gombe-4 Yobe-2 Bauchi-2 Kebbi-2.

NCDC tweeted: “790 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Delta-166 Lagos-120 Enugu-66 FCT-65 Edo-60 Ogun-43 Kano-41 Kaduna-39 Ondo-33 Rivers-32 Bayelsa-29 Katsina-21 Imo-20 Kwara-18 Oyo-11 Abia-10 Benue-6 Gombe-4 Yobe-2 Bauchi-2 Kebbi-2.” The agency added: 26,484 confirmed 10,152 discharged 603 deaths.”
