#EdoDecides2020: How people of Edo State voted, in details

The final results of Edo State governorship election has been announced by INEC.

The Edo governorship election and the final collation of results commenced after the election later on Saturday and ended at the INEC headquarters in Benin on Sunday.

A total of 14 parties took part in the election but the results so far show a serious distance between Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of All Progressives Congress (APC) and incumbent Governor, Godwin Obaseki of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Meanwhile, the result of the elections which were held in all the 18 local government areas of the state have been declared by INEC at the collation centre in Benin City, Edo State capital.

Godwin Obaseki of PDP has won in Orhiaonmwon LGA, Osagie Ize-Iyamu of APC’s home town.

A ward, with 7778 registered voters, was cancelled due to violence and a PU was cancelled due to over voting.
