OnyxNews Nigeria reports that a chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Abia State, Chief Chris Nkwota, on Wednesday, announced the resignation of his membership to the party.
Nkwota, two time Abia South Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, in Abia State, made the announcement in a letter dated 28th December 2020 and addressed to Akwete Ohandu Ward APGA executive.
A copy of the letter was made available to newsmen in Umuahia on Wednesday afternoon.
In the letter, Nkwota cited irregularities and other ugly events that allegedly took place in APGA before, during and after the 2019 general elections as reasons for leaving the party.
