OnyxNews Nigeria reports that a former Minister of Women Affairs, Senator Aisha Alhassan popularly known as Mama Taraba, is dead.

Though, she was reported to have died at a hospital overseas as details of her death are sketchy at the time of this publication.
BREAKING: Popular Nigerian Rapper Is Dead
Senator Aisha was the candidate of the United Democratic Party (UDP) in the March 2019 governorship election, she came third after Abubakar Sani Danladi, candidate of the All progressive Congress (APC) who came second in the hotly contested election.
Hajia Aisha was equally former Minister of Women Affairs in Muhammadu Buhari‘s first tenure and was also the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2015 general election.
