Buhari Government has banned the salary payment of striking doctors.

Onyxnewsng reports that the Nigerian government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has started the implementation of “no work, no pay” against striking doctors.

This online newspaper understands that the Director of Hospital Services, Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Adebimpe Adebiyi, made the announcement in a statement.

Adebiyi urged Chief Medical Directors and Managing Directors of federal tertiary health institutions to obey.

They must identify doctors staying off work and any health worker that may join the industrial action subsequently.
