The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe has claimed that his house in Nnewi, Anambra State has been burnt down by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), according to report.
Igbokwe, who made this known via his Facebook account, stating that the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, adding that the IPOB were behind the attack.
He wrote, “IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. Iam sure they raised down my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV.
To God be the glory. Iam still alive. My Study is my greatest regret.”
Joe Igbokwe has been vocal in his criticism of alleged violence by IPOB, a proscribed group led by Nnamdi Kanu.
The APC chieftain, earlier this year revealed that the IPOB leader asked his men to behead him anywhere he is found.
