BREAKING: Gunmen Kidnap Commissioner For Culture And Tourism
The Commissioner for Information Culture and Tourism in Nasarawa State Alhaji Lawal Yakubu has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Confirming the incident to Radio Nigeria through telephone interview, a resident of Nasarawa Eggon Mr Joseph Audu said the gunmen trailed the commissioner to his house in the area and took him to unknown destination between 8: 45 and 9pm on Monday.
He stated that residents of the area were thrown into confusion following sporadic gunshots by the abductors numbering about ten as they took the commissioner away on motorcycle.

When the state Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ramhan Nansel was contacted , he said detail about the kidnap of the commissioner was sketchy as the Divisional Police Officer’s telephone line was not reachable.
