Chima Udoye has been crowned the champion of Nigerian Idol season 9, outshining top vocalists in a thrilling finale on Sunday.
After months of intense competition, Chima emerged victorious, taking home a grand prize of N30 million, a record deal, a music video, a DSTV Explora with a 1-year premium subscription, and a brand new SUV.
The electrifying grand finale featured a special opening performance of John Legend’s “Glory” by all 10 contestants, followed by appearances from past winners Progress and Victory Gbakara, and guest performances by Simi and Chike.
The top 3 contestants, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima, delivered outstanding final performances, but Chima’s talent and charisma secured his win.
