President Trump Revokes Security Clearances for Biden, Clinton, Harris, and Other High-Profile Figures

In a significant move, President Donald Trump has ordered the revocation of security clearances for a group of high-profile figures, including former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The directive, issued by the White House on Saturday, requires department and agency heads to enforce the revocation without delay.
According to the presidential memorandum, Trump stated that it was “no longer in the national interest” for these individuals to maintain access to classified information. The extensive list of names also includes current and former officials such as Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, and prominent figures like Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Elizabeth Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, and Alexander Vindman. Members of Joe Biden’s family were also mentioned.
The order directs executive departments and agencies to take all necessary steps to remove any active security clearances held by those listed. As a result, the affected individuals will lose access to classified materials and will no longer be permitted “unescorted access to secure United States Government facilities.”
Additionally, the directive bars them from receiving classified briefings, including the President’s Daily Brief, and from obtaining classified information from any member of the Intelligence Community.
Trump’s memorandum further instructs U.S. entities to cancel any security clearances granted to the named individuals through private employment.
Antony Blinken previously served as Secretary of State, Jacob Sullivan as National Security Adviser, and Lisa Monaco as Deputy Attorney General. The move has sparked widespread discussion and is expected to face significant scrutiny in the coming days.
