EPL: Burnley, Leeds Sealed Promotion
Leeds United and Burnley have confirmed their promotion back to the Premier League.
Their return was sealed on Easter Monday after both teams secured victories in their Championship matches.
At Elland Road, Daniel Farke’s side stormed to a five-goal lead by halftime against Stoke City, eventually cruising to a 6–0 win that ended their two-year spell outside the top tier.
Meanwhile, Burnley secured an immediate return with a 2–1 win over third-placed Sheffield United at Turf Moor, extending their unbeaten run in the league to 31 matches.
Leeds currently boast the most potent attack in the Championship, while Scott Parker’s Burnley have the league’s tightest defence.
Both teams sit atop the Championship table with 94 points each, with Leeds in first and Burnley in second, setting up a thrilling title race with just two games left to play.
