TRANSFER: Chelsea Meet Garnacho’s Deal With United, Set To Sign The Argentine Winger
Chelsea have finalised an agreement with Manchester United to sign Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho in a deal valued at £40 million, which also includes a 10 percent sell-on clause.
The 21-year-old is set to commit to a long-term contract with the Blues, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2032, according to The Athletic.
Garnacho, who broke into United’s senior side in 2022, has quickly risen to prominence as one of Europe’s brightest young prospects.
Renowned for his blistering pace, dribbling ability, and sharp finishing, he will now continue his development under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.
The Argentina international is due in London on Friday to undergo his medical before the transfer is officially completed.
If confirmed, Garnacho’s signing will strengthen Chelsea’s attacking depth ahead of the upcoming campaign, making him the latest South American talent to shine in the Premier League.
