Top government official kidnapped by bandits.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowan has been kidnapped by gunmen in Benin-city.

Security sources revealed that Okungbowa was kidnapped at gunpoint on Saturday evening and whisked to an unknown destination, while the thugs are yet to reach members of the family of the victim or Governor Godwin Obaseki, on the payment of ransom.
Edo Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Chidi Nwabuzor, a Superintendent of Police (SP), could not be reached for comment, as at when filing this report.
