Soleimani’s killing: Shi’ites protest in Abuja, set US flag on fire (Photos)

On Monday, January 6, 2020, Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) known as Shi’ites had a protest and led a procession against the US government over the killing of Iran’s Military General, Qassem Soleimani, in Banex, Wuse Area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The Shi’ite members were protesting over the killing of top rank Iranian general Qaseem Soleimani following an airstrike by president Trump of United States of America.
At the same time, the Shi’ites demanded the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat who are presently detained.

Shi’ites burning US flag in Abuja on Monday.
The angry protesters paraded the streets of Abuja chanting hate songs and slogans like “Death To America.” As they set a flag of the United States of America on fire and carried placards condemning the killing of the top Iranian general, and wrote death to America, death to Isreal on banners.
