Alleged bribery: Bank officials testify in Shehu Sani’s case

A new generation bank members of staff have given their evidence in the ongoing trial of a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, at an Abuja Federal High Court on Tuesday.
Beckley and Elizabeth, who were compliance officers with the bank, testified before Justice Inyang Ekwo in two counts of bribery and advance fee fraud levied against Sani by the EFCC.
Onyxnewsng reported that the EFCC had, on January 27, arraigned the former senator, who was arrested in December 2019 for allegedly collected $20, 000 from the owner of ASD motors, claiming to be a close person to the acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.
