BREAKING: Coronavirus increases in Nigeria as more cases revealed, check affected states

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 51 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 493, Onyxnews Nigeria reports.
This reliable online news platform understands that NCDC made this known via the micro-blogging site, Twitter. It stated that “Fifty-one new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; 32 in Lagos 6 in Kano 5 in Kwara 2 in FCT 2 in Oyo 2 in Katsina 1 in Ogun 1 in Ekiti.
“As at 10:10 pm 17th April there are 493 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 159 Deaths: 17,” the centre tweeted.
Fifty-one new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;
32 in Lagos
6 in Kano
5 in Kwara
2 in FCT
2 in Oyo
2 in Katsina
1 in Ogun

Earlier today, Onyxnews Nigeria reported that NCDC revealed the gender that tested more positive for coronavirus pandemic.
The centre listed the total number of 6,649 people tested for the deadly virus in Nigeria.
This reliable online news platform understands that the recent report by the public health agency revealed that there are cases of more male patients than females.
Onyxnews Nigeria also understands that the Director General (DG) of the NCDC, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu made this announcement in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.
Iheakweazu said; “NCDC data revealed that of the 6,649 suspected cases tested for the disease, 71 per cent were males, while females made up just 21 per cent of the total number.”
“210 had travel history, 129 were contacts of confirmed cases, 11 were infected by unknown sources, while 92 still had incomplete epidemiological information,” he added.
