BREAKING: Nigeria records 87 death cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) as total cases hit 2558, see breakdown for each state
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Nigeria has on Sunday night recorded new cases of raging coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
This reliable online news platform also reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known after confirming that 170 new cases of the deadly disease has been recorded in the country, with 400 discharged cases and 87 deaths.
Onyxnews Nigeria understands that the NCDC made the announcement via the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday night, May 3 2020.
With the new cases of the ravaging pandemic, the total number of the virus in Nigeria now is 2558.
Giving update of the cases of the disease, NCDC said through the tweet that: “170 new cases of #COVID19; 39-Lagos 29-Kano 24-Ogun 18-Bauchi 15-Kaduna 12-FCT 12-Sokoto 8-Katsina 7-Borno 3-Nasarawa 2-Adamawa 1-Oyo 2558 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 400 Deaths: 87.”
