Prophet Odumeje’s comment on pastors asking members to pay tithes will shock you (Video)
Prophet Odumeje has issued comments on pastors asking members to pay tithes.
He said that it is criminal for pastors to ask their church members to pay tithe.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Spiritual Director of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry World Miracle Center, alias Land of Freedom, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, stated this in an interview with a lady onboard a plane.
In the video shared on Twitter, the controversial Anambra-based prophet said: “You can’t be a child of a rich God and be forcing members to pay you tithe”, adding that “I am serving a living God he will give me money not to be asking my church members to pay tithe.”
He said: “Jesus Christ said to Peter go to the riverside, you will see a fish waiting for you there. What did the fish give to him?
“The fish gave him money, so if I am serving a living God he will give me money not to be asking my church members to pay tithe, it’s criminal. I don’t ask anybody for tithe.
“God is a rich God. How did he make Solomon rich? What are you talking about?
“You can’t be a child of a rich God and be forcing members to pay you tithe. It has to be evident so that people can ask how you do it.”

Where are those calling him a fake pastor? Those saying he is not a “Christian Pastor”? He just used the New Testaments o@walegates@AfamDeluxo @von_Bismack pic.twitter.com/8kskE1XMu8

Meanwhile, Igbo leaders have come out to mediate and apologise on behalf of prophet Odumeje.
A video had emerged on social media on May 6, where Odumeje could be heard saying Pericoma’s children are of no use to the society and that the People of Arondizuogu are very poor over their involvement in fetish practices.
