Story of Kechi, a plane crash survivor, her rise to stardom (Video)
Kechi Okwuchi, one of the two survivors of a plane crash in Nigeria, has risen to stardom.
The Nigerian-American singer and motivational speaker was a plane crash survivor.
Remember the Sosoliso plane crash which killed about 107 people, 59 of the passengers were students, Kechi was one of them but survived.
The Sosoliso Airlines flight 1145, from Abuja crash occurred on December 10 2005 in Port Harcourt, South South, Nigeria, where over 107 people were killed in the crash and about 59 of them were Kechi Okwuchi’s school mates from Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja.
Narrating in a video how she stepped to stardom as one of the finalists at the twelfth season of “America’s Got Talent” in 2017, Kechi said she suffered third degree burns over 65 percent of her body. She had also gone through more than 120 times surgeries to fix her burns.
The accident has left her appearance changed forever. And the memory of that day is also forever left in her mind.
