Popular cosmetics doctor arrested, arraigned over alleged botched surgery (Photos)

The founder of popular Lagos cosmetic surgery outfit, Doctor Anu Felix, MedContour has been arrested and charged to court by the Federal Government over alleged botched surgery.

The controversial cosmetic surgeon was allegedly arrested by Federal Competitive and Consumer Protective Commission (FCCPC) earlier on Wednesday for carrying out a botched cosmetic surgery that led to the death of one Mrs Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo among other allegations.

There has been complaints from alleged botched surgery victims including social media influencer, Omotola Taiwo popularly known as @Omohtee12.

The clinic was sealed by FCCPC in May over reported lack of professionalism and competence.

This occurred following a complaint from Omohtee12 about a cosmetic surgery that almost took her life.

According to the FCCPC, there was sufficient probable cause to inquire into the consumer protection aspects of the representations and services of Med Contour and its operatives.

This has caused her to be arrested and prosecution of the Doctor in which FCCPC is the prosecutor in the case.
