BREAKING: Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria now approaching 40000

Nigeria records new cases of the deadly pandemic virus, the total number of the disease is gradually approaching 40000, Onyxnews Nigeria reports.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement that 575 new cases of the pandemic infection have been detected in Nigeria, making all cases of the disease for now 31,323 in the country, with 12,795 discharged cases and 709 deaths.

NCDC recorded that with 575 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Friday night, 225 were detected in Lagos, Oyo-85 FCT-68 Rivers-49 Kaduna-39 Edo-31 Enugu-30 Delta-11 Niger-10 Katsina-9 Ebonyi-5 Gombe-3 Jigawa-3 Plateau-2 Nassarawa-2 Borno-2 Kano-1 Abia-1.
The Centre for Disease Control announced via tweeted: “575 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-224 Oyo-85 FCT-68 Rivers-49 Kaduna-39 Edo-31 Enugu-30 Delta-11 Niger-10 Katsina-9 Ebonyi-5 Gombe-3 Jigawa-3 Plateau-2 Nassarawa-2 Borno-2 Kano-1 Abia-1,” adding: “31,323 confirmed, 12,795 discharged and 709 deaths.”
