Ondo 2020: Akeredolu picks running mate

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has picked his running mate for forthcoming election in Ondo State.

The governor who intends running for governorship for the second term choose Lucky Ayedatiwa as his running mate in the upcoming governorship election in the state.

Onyxnews Nigeria understands that Ayedatiwa who is from Ilaje is a former representative of the state on the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa

Akeredolu was forced to pick another running mate after his deputy, Agboola Ajayi left All Progressive Party, APC to the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ayedatiwa and Akeredolu will contest in the October 10 governorship election in the state.
