BREAKING: Minister discloses when Npower beneficiaries will get June, July stipend

June and July stipend payment update for Npower Beneficiaries has been disclosed.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, has finally revealed when Npower beneficiaries will receive their unpaid stipends.
The Minister said Batch A Npower beneficiaries and Batch B Npower beneficiaries of the Federal Government social intervention scheme, N-Power, will receive their stipends before the onboarding of the new beneficiaries by the government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sadiya revealed this in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday night, August 16. She assured Npower beneficiaries of the social intervention scheme that “efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends.”
The Minister tweeted: “The N-Power Batch C application portal closed on Sunday, August 9, 2020, after receiving over 5m applications.
“As we embark on the review process, efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends for Batch A and B before onboarding the new set of beneficiaries,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Sadiya’s assurance is coming two days after a rights activist and co-founder of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, Aisha Yesufu, asked disengaged N-Power protesters to meet with other agitators to “protest on the same day.”
The call by the human rights activist is coming at a time Npower beneficiaries are still lamenting the delay in payment of Npower June and July stipend for 2020 by the Federal Government.
