#Edodecides2020: Gunshots, APC wife attacked as thugs hijacked electoral materials (Photos)

Yet to be identified person has been reportedly shot at Ologbo in Ikpoba Okah LGA, in Edo State.

When contacted on the alleged shooting at Ologbo Dukedoom, the Enogie, HRH Jason Owen Akenzua, said he heard gunshots and when he contacted the police, he was told that it was police that fired warning shots when the place was rowdy.

“I heard gunshots and called the DPO Ologbo. He told it was police that fired warning shots to disperse the crowd when the place became rowdy. The area is calm and peaceful now,” the monarch stated.

Meanwhile, a group of hoodlums loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP have reportedly hijacked electoral materials at a polling unit in Tipper Garage, Egor.

According to sources, the wife of the APC chairman in the area was also attacked as she tried to resist the hoodlums.
