Trouble looms as SARS officer has been killed by IPOB members.
Hoodlum suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB have reportedly killed a Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS officer in Port Harcourt, Rivers State
OnyxNews Nigeria gathered that the incident started when the victim was on a special duty at Oyigbo Local Government Area on Wednesday ahead of the independence day celebration.
It was reported that while he was out looking for where to eat, some residents suspected to be a members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB attacked him.
Recall that IPOB had given orders to individuals in the Southeast and Southwest to sit-at-home on October 1, due to marginalization of the Southeast and bad governance.
The Sars officer was lured into the bush where he was killed, causing trouble in the area as other police officers have been seen in the area launching deadly chase for the suspected killers.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, SP. Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the incident, warned thugs acting in the guise of proscribed IPOB members to stay away from the state or be punished.
