Cristiano Ronaldo drops retirement hint, see when he would like to retire

Portuguese professional footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that the 2022 FIFA world cup will be his last action on a football field.
OnyxNews Nigeria learnt that Ronaldo said this while speaking to the reporters ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League game against France on Sunday, adding that he was still fit to continue, but he did go on to mention that the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be his last.
When asked when he was going to retire, the player said “the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be my last”
This has sent a wave of despair among football fans around the world who will miss seeing the Juventus talisman adorning the football screens.
The 5-time winner of Ballon d’Or who has scored 101 international goals for Portugal stated that he is set to retire and would do that as soon as possible after the 2022 FIFA world cup.
