Buhari again makes new appointments

President Buhari has again made new appointments.
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of three additional directors for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), OnyxNews Nigeria reports.
A statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande, said the additional appointments are to give more coverage and ensure greater efficiency of operations.
The names of the three new Executive Directors are listed in the statement, they include Mr Abdullahi Kassim; Mrs. Nkechinyelu Mba and Mr Mohammed Mahmud.
The NDPHC has 6 directors this new board structure, each drawn from the six geo-political zones in the country. Below are their full names and designation.
- Mr Joseph Chiedu Ugbo, Managing Director/CEO – South South
2. Mr Babayo Shehu, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) – North East
3. Mr Ifeoluwa Oyedele, Executive Director (Networks) – South West
4. Mr Abdullahi Kassim, Executive Director (Generation) – North West
5. Mrs Nkechinyelu Mba, Executive Director (Corporate Services)– South East
6. Mr Mohammed Mahmud as Executive Director (Legal Services & Company Secretary) – North Central
The appointment is coming after President Buhari had in August 2020, renewed the appointment of Mr Joseph Chiedu Ugbo, as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).
