‘Babalawo’ joins #EndSARS protest (Video)

A man dressed up like a traditional herbalist ‘babalawo’ could be seen among #EndSARS protesters in Nigeria.
Nigerians are presently protesting the continued human right abuse by police officers in the country, as they call for a complete reform of the law enforcement agency.
The protest has seen many intriguing and touching moments, and one of a man dressed up like a traditional herbalist, popularly known locally as Babalawo, has caught the eye.
What is more stunning about the man is that, despite his regalia, he could be seen, chanting that the newly formed SWAT unit of the police force to come to an end ‘in Jesus name’, a popular phrase by Christians across the globe.
This must be a symbolic sign that the protest cut across religious ties, as youths across the country unite to end the continued human right abuse by men of the Nigeria Police Force.
