NIMC: FG Issues Fresh Instructions To All NIN Applicants
FG through NIMC has issued fresh instructions to all NIN applicants.
The Federal government of Nigeria has given new instructions to all National Identification Number applicants through National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to instruct applicant on how to enrol for their NIN during stipulated time of the registration period.
Therefore, the NIMC’s spokeperson, Kayode Adegoke revealed the instructions in a statement titled: “NIMC adopts booking system for NIN enrolment.”

Adegoke urges all NIN applicants to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols during the registration which includes;
1. Use of face masks.
2. Hand washing during NIN registration.
3. Maintaining social distancing.
More so, the stipulated hours for NIN registration is between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the afternoon.
Adegoke advised all NIN applicants to visit NIMC office close to them to carry on with their NIN enrolment.

This initiative is part of the measure to reduce the rate of crimes in the country, under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to all Nigerians to apply for National Identification Number in order to link their Sim cards.
The initiative is expected to reduce the rate of crime in the country, and help security agency to trace any criminal activities.
