PHOTOS: Chief Of Defence Staff, Chief Of Naval Staff Hand Over To The New Service Chiefs
General Abayomi Oloonisakin has handed over to the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Lucky Irabor.
OnyxNews Nigeria understands that Major General Irabor and the other new service chiefs were appointed on Tuesday by President Muhammadu Buhari after the resignation and retirement of the former Service Chiefs.

In a brief handing over ceremony on Friday, January 29 2021, the former CDS, Oloonisakin appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerians for the privilege to serve the country.
At the same time, the immediate past Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas has handed over to the newly appointed CNS, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja.
