The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of Ogun State is now employing casual teachers who are required, and willing to work as interns for a period of two (2) years.
The recruitment is under the (Ogun TEACH) which is the short form of Ogun State Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel. This programme is a special intervention program proposed to fill the existing vacancies in the primary, secondary, and Technical college in the State.
Requirements
The following are the requirements;
Applicants should have NCE, with a minimum of merit in the teaching subject B.A (Ed)/BSc (Ed),B.Ed, with not less than second class lower.
Those with Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) are free to apply for primary/secondary school roles.
B.Tech, and B.Sc/HND qualifications are allowed for technical colleges in the State.
How to Apply for Ogun State TEACH 2021
Applicants should apply through the Ogun state job portal by logging to http://www.teach.ogunstate.gov.ng/
Application Deadline: Tuesday, 13th April 2021.
Applicants who are successful at the end of the screening exercise will be known as TEACH interns, and shall be deployed to the vaeious local government areas (L.G.A) in the State where their services are highly needed.
They will be given a stipend on monthly basis for a duration of 2 years, after which they’ll be assessed on parameters ranging from expertise, punctuality, commitment to duty, willingness to work in the place posted, and respect for constitutional authority.
Full employment of outstanding TEACH Interns may be considered if, and when such opportunity arises after the expiration of their internship. Therefore, applicants should take the opportunity serious.
