Full List Of 20 New Universities NUC Granted License Has Been Shared By OnyxNews Nigeria.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the National Universities Commission has granted provisional licences to 20 newly established private universities.

They received their licences from the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, in Abuja on Thursday.
With the approval, Nigeria now has 99 private universities.

The universities granted provisional licenses are:
1. Mudiame University, Irrua, Edo State
2. James Hope University, Lagos
3. Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano
4. Capital City University, Kano
5. Ahman Pategi University, Pategi, Kwara State
6. University of Offa, Kwara State
7. Topfaith University, Mkpatak, Akwa Ibom State
8. Thomas Adewumi University, Oko-Irese, Kwara State
9. Maranathan University, Mgbidi, Imo State
10. Ave Maria University, Piyanko, Nasarawa State
11. Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, Kano State
12. Havilla University, Nde-Ikom, Cross River State
13. Claretian University of Nigeria, Nekede, Imo State
14. NOK University, Kachia, Kaduna State
15. Karl-Kumm University, Vom, Plateau State
16. Mewar University, Masaka, Nasarawa State
17. Edusoko University, Bida, Niger State
18. Philomath University, Kuje, Abuja
