Missing Uyo job seeker, found dead and buried.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Iniobong Umoren, a lady who went seeking for job was murdered and buried in a shallow grave.
On Thursday, April 29, 2021, the deceased was alleged to have gone for a “work interview” at an unspecified location on Airport Road on the outskirts of Uyo.

She allegedly made a frantic phone call two hours later, during which she was heard crying until the call was suddenly stopped. Since then, her phone line has been turned off.
Soon after, her story went viral on social media, with the internet being used to identify her kidnapper.
Within 24 hours, Nigerians on social media had provided data, locations, contacts, and almost everything else required to identify her kidnapper, in the hopes that the information would aid in the search for Iniobong Umoren and bring her kidnapper to justice.
The suspect was accused of taking the late Miss Umoren to his home, where they got into an altercation and he hit her on the head with an object, killing her. He was accused of hastily burying her in a shallow grave before fleeing to Oron to hide.

Oron became uneasy as a result of pressure from the police and Nigerians on social media, and he returned to Uruan. Surv. Iniobong Ekpeyong, the Chairman of Uruan LGA, is said to have met the accused cousin and asked him to bring the accused to him. When he was brought before the Chairman, he was asked to tell the truth about what had happened.

He admitted to his Local Government Chairman that he had killed her and buried her in a shallow grave there. Surv Ekpeyong, stunned, had no choice but to contact the Uruan LGA DPO and hand over the perpetrator to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
Meanwhile, friend to the deceased was seen crying after she heard the sad incident.
