See How Soldiers Jubilated Moment New COAS Was Announced.

Onyxnews gathered that soldiers at the Headquarters Theatre Command of the counter-terrorism military establishment in the North-East, with code-name: Operation Hadin Kai, were all jubilating at the announcement of Major General Farouk Yahaya as the new Chief of Army Staff.

In a video shared online by SaharaReporters and seen by Onyxnews showed an Army Officer asking others to pray for the new Army Chief and also tell their family members to do the same.

In the videos, the senior officer is seen addressing his colleagues and asking them to put the new Chief of Army Staff “in the hands of God”.

According to the officer, “Your happiness, it has been registered, the COAS (Chief of Army Staff) is standing right before you. We will all retire back to your DIV. There is going to be a special moment that will be organised,” the military officer addressing his colleagues said.

When you go back, you yourself, your family, your people back home, tell them to submit the new COAS (Chief of Army Staff) in the hands of Ģod, by praying fervently to Allah, for guidance, direction and his protection. We will have cause to celebrate and jubilate at the end of his tenure,” the officer also said.
