BREAKING: New COAS, Major General Farouk Yahaya Takes Over Office (Video)
The newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya took over command following a ceremony that took place today at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
Onyxnews earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Yahaya as the new Chief of Army Staff on Thursday.
He takes over from Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru, who died alongside other top military officers, in an air crash last Friday, May 21.
