Happening Now: Unknown Gunmen Shot Dead In Owerri (Video)

Some of the gang of “Unknown Gunmen” who terrorised parts of Owerri on Sunday morning have been shot dead by Nigeria security operatives.
The gunmen had thrown the state in panic after they went on continuous shooting this morning in several parts of Owerri. Many who were going to church were seen running for their lives as gun shots went on for almost an hour.

The sporadic shooting took place from Orlu road covering places like Amakohia, Rappour Junction, Federal Medical Centre Owerri, Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Government House axis to Douglas road and Cherubim Junction in Wethral road.
They also tried to attack the State police command again but were not successful as police confirmed that one of them was killed at the command headquarters.
Onyxnews understands that officials of the Imo State Government have now shared video of the five gunmen killed this morning.
