Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has sacked about 17 commissioners and his Chief of Staff.
The governor made a decision shortly after the State Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
The cabinet was constituted on August 14, 2019, following Makinde’s victory in the March 9, 2019 election.
The council members who were not affected by the dissolution included the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Head of Service (HOS) and the Director General of Due Process office.
