The wife’s husband returned from work unannounced and found the pastor, Peter Afagara, in bed with his wife at 4 a.m.
The incident occurred in Mukuyu, in the Mautuma district of the Lugari Sub-County.
The woman’s husband said he had been told by the neighbor that his wife had been secretly seeing the pastor while he (the husband) was away in Nakuru. “On Wednesday night, I traveled from Nakuru to Lugari without alerting my mom.

At 4am, I went home unannounced and caught the pastor in the act with my partner,” said the woman’s husband to K24Digital, a publication in Kenya.
Immediately after the frustrating finding, the aggrieved man told the village elders of his distress.
Appearing before the elders, the woman and her husband were engaged in the blame game, and the woman accused her husband of desertion.
The priest, Peter Afagara, on the other hand, confessed his remorse and begged his lover’s partner to forgive him. The elders ruled that Afagara was to pay a fine to be paid to his lover’s spouse as compensation for the humiliation caused.
