Popular musician dies in fresh plane crash.
Onyxnewsng gathered that 26-year-old Marilia Mendonca, a wave making and a shinning young star in the Brazilian music industry, has died in a fresh plane crash.
Officials say “sertanejo” singer died when a small plane she was travelling in crashed in Minas Gerais state.
The Latin Grammy-winner’s producer and one of her uncles who also works with the singer were part of casualties alongside two pilots.
According to local police chief Ivan Lopes, authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
“We still cannot say what caused the plane to crash, but there is damage that suggests that the plane collided with a (power) antenna before falling,” Lopes said.
