See What Pastor Ashimolowo Did To His Son In London (Video)
Onyxnewsng reports that Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has announced his first son Tobi as Resident Pastor Two at Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London.
His wife Yemisi is already Resident Pastor Number One.
In a video shared by Church Gist, Ashimolowo said he was making a fundamental change with the way things are run at the church.
He then announced his son to wild cheers by the congregants.
The appointment reportedly took place in the New Year.
Ashimolowo also didn’t disclose his new role having given the two pastoral duties to family members. But he joked that both his son and wife may be retiring him soon.
Tobi Ashimolowo is one of the two sons of Matthew Ashimolowo. He had pursued other dreams outside his father’s ministry, but said he got a call to return in 2016. This was two years after he got married to Toyin Omotayo, a lawyer.
“For years I ran away from ministry as I wanted to pursue other dreams I had, however I surrendered to God in 2016 when I heard the call.
“In that year I was ordained as a minister and I began full time ministry”.
Tobi Ashimolowo had founded the Vault, a high-end store for men’s wear and accessories.
