BREAKING: Buhari Meets With Apc Aspirants At Aso Rock Villa
Onyxnewsng reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is meeting with seven applicants for the position of National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
Senator Sani Musa, a Niger-East lawmaker; Tanko Al-Makura, a former governor of Nasarawa State; George Akume, a former governor of Benue State; Abdulaziz Yari, a former governor of Zamfara State; Abdullahi Adamu, another former governor of Nasarawa State; Saliu Mustapha, and Mohammed Etsu, all former governors of Nasarawa State.
The meeting took place just hours after the hopefuls were screened by a Masari-led screening committee at the Katsina State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro on Tuesday night at 10 p.m.
Although the reason for the meeting which was held on Wednesday couldn’t be officially confirmed as of the time of filing this report, it is believed that the President will either disclose his consensus plans or allow an open race.
