Atiku Reacts As Tinubu Is Declared APC Presidential Candidate
Onyxnewsng reports that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress emerged winner of the party’s presidential primary.
He got 1,271 votes to defeat his closest rivals, ex-minister Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
While Amaechi polled 316 votes, Osinbajo scored 235 votes.
Congratulating the former Lagos governor, Atiku stated: “Congratulations, @officialABAT on your emergence as your party’s presidential candidate. It has been a hard-fought contest, but that you prevailed confirms your tenacity. -AA,” Atiku wrote on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Recall that Atiku emerged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate for the 2023 election.
Atiku got 371 out of the 767 accredited votes to defeat his closest rival, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, who polled 237 votes.
