BREAKING: Ex-Governor’s Son Killed

Olaolu Mudasiru, the first son of former military governor of Lagos State, Gbolahan Mudasiru, has been confirmed dead after being killed by a hit-and-run driver.

The Punch reports that this event took place on December 11 at Ikoyi, Lagos State while he and two others were cycling on the Bourdilion road in that area.

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the incident and, according to the spokesperson for the Police Command Benjamin Hundeyin, no suspect has been found in connection with the hit-and-run case.

Olaolu’s Academic Background and Career
Olaolu Mudasiru was a student of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He also held a Master’s Degree in International Securities, Investments and Banking from the ICMA Centre of the University of Reading, the United Kingdom.

Another degree he achieved was an M.B.B.S. Degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria.

He served as a Dealing Member of the London Stock Exchange, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria, and was a member of the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria as well.

He received the Chevening Scholarship, which is granted to ‘mid-career high flyers’ worldwide by the British Government.

Olaolu was an investment banker with extensive experience covering stock broking, asset management, as well as other activities concerned with investment banking.

In his 16 years of experience, the versatile Olaolu Mudasiru succeeded in the field of investment banking covering wealth management, financial intermediation, trading and dealing, and executing various transactions in the financial services industry.
