BREAKING: APC Chairman Slumps And Dies
Mr. Vincent Okokoje, the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Ward 9 Chairman in Delta State’s Warri South Local Government Area, has collapsed and died.
He passed away early on Thursday.
Comrade Gabriel Omorere, Chairman of the APC Ward 12, confirmed the information to DAILY POST.
Comrade Omorere said, “we attended a meeting together at the residence of an APC leader in Warri South, Chief Ojogri on Wednesday, along Warri/Sapele road. We only got the news that he died on Thursday morning.”
The passing of Okokoje, according to Omorere, shocked both the APC in Warri South and Delta State at large.
He claimed that the late Okokoje was a gentleman who cherished fostering harmony among his coworkers.
According to Omorere, “He was amongst the three Ward Chairmen who won their wards in the just concluded election in Warri South Constituency II.”
Okokoje would be profoundly missed, according to Omorere, who led a team of APC Chairmen to pay their respects to his wife, children, and family in Warri South.
He stressed that his departure had caused a very big vacuum within the APC in Warri South, saying, “I pray we have someone like him to work hard and move the party forward.”
