BREAKING: House Of Reps Member-Elect Dies Weeks To Official Inauguration

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives member-elect for Jalingo, Yorro/Zing/federal constituency in Taraba State, Isma’ila Maihanchi has died.

The announcement of the Lawmaker’s death was confirmed on Bashir Ahmad Twitter handle.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un! Just received sad news about the passing of our brother, Hon. Ismail Maihanci, a member-elect of Jalingo, Yorro and Zing, Federal Constituency in Taraba State. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannah al-Firdaus,” Ahmad stated.

According to family source, 37-year-old Isma’ila Maihanchi died this morning after a brief illness.
