Missing Social Media Influencer, Mubaarak Found Dead
The Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has described as shocking and saddening the death of a 27-year-old Yusuf Mubaarak under hazy circumstances.
The governor, in a statement on Saturday night, said the circumstances surrounding Mubaarak’s death must be investigated by security agencies.
The statement was signed by the governor’s chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.
Mubaarak, a new media personality, who hailed from Ilorin, went missing on Wednesday night, but his remains were eventually found around Unity area of Ilorin, the state capital on Saturday.
He was buried on Saturday evening in Ilorin amid tears by friends, associates and acquaintances.
