Ashleigh Plumptre, the Super Falcons defender, has stated that her upcoming team will be Al-Ittihad
According to a video of her on Twitter, “Grateful to have signed for Al-Ittihad“. She wrote
“My journey of stepping into more of myself continues… It’s more than football.”
Plumptre was a free agent after leaving Leicester City following the expiration of his contract.
The 25-year-old Nigerian international was linked with Manchester United, but made it clear she wanted to move abroad.
